“What does the fox say?”

I’ve spent some time around foxes. They can, and do, make a variety of quiet sounds. Some people think they’re silent, but they’re actually just softspoken.

Isn’t it interesting how much attention that attracts? Down to the children’s rhyme that begins this blog. When someone doesn’t say much, we tend to listen when they do.

And often, that’s wise.

I know a physician like that. He’s on a lecture tour right now. Dr. Charbel doesn’t say much, so when he does (in a lecture, for example), it’s worth hearing.

In addition to working with us to create some of the most cutting-edge devices in the cerebrovascular sphere, Dr. Charbel has also helped pioneer flow software for a certain group of patients for whom there was little prior help. NOVA (Noninvasive Optimal Vessel Analysis) is designed to give fast, numeric results for the volume, direction and velocity of flow through any vessel in the body.¹ Charbel pioneered it because he needed it.

True dedication is a rare thing.

But if a thing is worth doing, it’s probably also worth hearing.
