The Only True Test

They all have one thing in common: enduring legacy.
The modern world is fast, disposable, and cheap (in quality, if not in price.) But is that what we truly want in our lives? as we get older, and we watch social trends, buildings, even cultures pass away, most of us come to realize that the only true value in this world lies in things that endure. A mother’s love for a child, for example.
The only true test… is the test of time.
What endures? What lasts? What outlives even its own creator? That thing has meaning and value. Medicine doesn’t often think of itself in those terms. We’re always looking for the newest idea, the shiniest toy, the most recent disposable clinical trinket that will be forgotten next year.
But medicine is more enduring, because it has been with us since the beginning, and its most foundational component, compassion, genuinely deserves the world “undying.” It was compassion that motivated Transonic’s inception. Compassion for patients who went into CABG surgery when their lives hung in the balance of restored blood flow, only to leave that surgery on a hope and a prayer because no way existed to measure that life sustaining flow.
Our ultrasound dilution measurements came out of compassion. Compassion for dialysis patients who suffered and died needlessly because all access points were exhausted before they should have been… if only those points could have been proactively managed. But no technology existed to do that.
Our devices were conceived over 40 years ago. That’s 40 years of continuous refinement, enhancement, and strengthening, all to one purpose: the best, most enduring device we can offer, at the lowest possible price. Transonic devices last because they were meant to. That’s what makes they worth acquiring in the first place.
